Draw a Face with Dots 5

Part 5 in the Face Drawing Series

Apr 13, 2006 Alina Bradford

The next step in drawing faces with dots.

Here is step 5.

Look at the eyes. That is one thing that I changed from earlier. I made the eyelids a little higher up and rounder. I think that this comes a little closer. I worked some more on the hair, but there are still some changes I am going to make to it. I won't try to add too much detail to the hair though, because you don't really see that much detail in hair. It usually seems to be a general mass of form with only a few highlights and darker shadows, suggesting some details.

I think that I made the curls too small, but I will work with what I have here. There are some details that I still have left to add. I want to detail the form and volume of the eyelashes, and add some jewelery, and maybe suggest a bit of the clothes. How about a high neckline? Well we'll see.

See the next step here.
