Here is part seven in how to draw a face with dots.
Here is number 8 in the series. I am working more on shadows and somewhat on the hair texture, and I started to tone and detail the eyes and lips. I also redrew the chin. So far I have been using soft pencils and just my finger to smudge it with. The soft leads are "B" and the higher number the softer and darker the lead. I use a 4-B or 6-B lead in a mechanical pencil. I will go back over it later with a 4-H or so lead and smudge it with tissue or chamois later; especially the lighter skin tones. I will also use a carbon pencil for the darkest areas. (See Photo) Please see the next article Draw a Face with Dots 8.
