Don't blow drawing and sketching off! They make or break your paintings!

Hi,

I've heard people say that you really don't have to learn to draw to be an artist. Bullhockey!

Drawing skills will make or break any painting that you ever do. Why? Planning is the most important part of a painting. You should plan every piece by sketching your subject, drawing out your composition, then drawing it on your canvas.

I have seen paintings that just scream, "I can't draw!" The perspective was off, the subject looked unrealistic, things were chaotically placed...

Okay, you might be saying, how do you get good at drawing? Practice! Sketch, sketch, sketch!
