There's a new name at Painting/Drawing, but it's the same old me.
Hi all!
You have noticed something different about Painting/Drawing?…No, we didn’t get a new writer, guess again. Yep! My last name has changed!
I got married this weekend at a wonderful two-story lake cabin in Hugo, Oklahoma. The view was breathtaking. As far as the eye could see there was rippling blue water, lush green forests, and happy faces. I made sure to make mental notes of everything, not just for the memories, but for drawing and painting ideas! Even the horrible rainstorm that tore apart all the outdoor decorations was captured in my memory to use towards my art.
I also handed out disposable cameras to family and friends so that I could get many different points of view. No one looks at everything the same. It will be refreshing to look at events through someone else’s eyes.
I’m sure we will be sharing some drawing demos using a few pictures from the wedding, in the weeks to come, since I love to share my ongoing art with you guys.
